Went in as we walked past. Can't understand some of the poor ratings as we had a great meal. One entree and one main course with rice and a naan was easily enough for two and the quality of both was excellent. We have had a lot of Indian food around the world and the food here was up with the best we have had.

We are big fans of Indian food, in the US. Saffron ranked right up there with the best of them. Friendly staff as well. We were the only customers in the restaurant on a Wednesday night which surprised us. Restaurant is neat and clean but nothing fancy. Medium spice level was just about right.

We wanted something different for a change. We decided to go for a takeaway but ended up sitting in . OMG amazing!! From the very light and crispy poppadoms to the delicious Pakora and the delicious Medium Korma and Butter Chicken ... Absolutely beautiful and worth every penny (Very Reasonable) ... certainly will return... A Gem of a restaurant... No frills, just great food & drinks.... Highly recommend the Saffron Special Naan Cannot Fault this place... Fantastic

Our first visit to saffron in Portrush. Had biriyani and tikka kebab. Food was great. Especially the biriyani, the portion was really worth the price and the taste is superb. Will come back again.

An absolute gem of a restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The service was top-notch — friendly, attentive, and professional without being overbearing. The food, though, was the real star. The Saffron Special Naan was soft, buttery, and full of flavor — truly unlike any naan I’ve had before. The Tikka Kebab was perfectly grilled, tender, and seasoned to perfection. And the Biriyani... just wow. Fragrant, beautifully spiced, and generously portioned — it was a standout dish. Every bite showed attention to detail and passion in the kitchen. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

Service was fast and great, had super helpful recommendations. Food was amazing especially if you’re getting bored of the same old Irish dishes (I am an American tourist and have so far thoroughly enjoyed what Ireland has to offer).
